09 January 2019 - Tulum to Cancun
Day 27 - VLOG 249
Today we leave Tulum and back to Cancun, back to where the year started! First we check into our hostel and then get some tacos at my favourite taco place!!
In the afternoon we head off to get my new tattoo!! Tattoo on my arm is hardly painful at all and for anyone thinking of getting one, the arm is a good place to start! I got a compass and clock tattoo to symbolise direction in life and travel. I also believe in the now and that there is no better time to start than now, but at the same time there is a certain time and place for everything. This is coupled with the spanish words "Pura Vida" which is literally translated to the "Pure Life" or the simple life. Meaning no stress, no hassle, which is also the mantra which I try to live by. Absolutely love my new tat!!
We end the evening catching up with Gemita at a little local Mexican place over a few drinks. Did you know me and her are 10 years apart? We made a bet that in 10 years time if we meet again, she will be married with 5 kids and I will still be single vlogging. hahaha!! Hopefully not but only time will tell!!
