Amsterdam's infamous ghost alley (spooksteeg) and reveal how it got it's name and the history of the location in secret Amsterdam in the heart of the red light district / wallen. This hidden gem uncovers some beautiful features and a story of murder most foul. An interesting story for those who like a little local knowledge and urban legends. This is the third of my four shorts on the ghosts of Amsterdam. Its made for a bit of fun and share my personal interest in local history and stories. The information given is researched from the National Archives, local newspaper sources, as well as the official city website.
