On December 7, 2019, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán performed a popurrí of "Amo Esta Tierra" into "Que Bonita es Mi Tierra" at the 25th Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza in San Antonio. This popurrí features vocal solos from violinist Andres Gonzalez and guitarist Jonathan Palomar in "Amo Esta Tierra" and from longtime Vargas violinist Daniel Martinez in "Que Bonita es Mi Tierra". After receiving raves on their performance, Mariachi Vargas considers the 25th Annual MVE to be their best San Antonio performance to date.
