Welcome back to Pathways!
In this episode, I was tremendously privileged to have a conversation with Professor Geoffrey Williams, the owner of Williams Business Consultancy and a graduate of the University of Cambridge's Economics Department.
It was a special privilege to speak to Professor Williams about his personal experiences studying and applying to Cambridge as well as his thoughts on the bargain of higher education for students in Malaysia at large, after having rejected multiple high profile jobs in, amongst other places, Her Majesty’s Treasury.
In this fun-filled podcast, we talked economics, my discipline! It was a fun conversation about higher education, the trade-offs involved in it, the purpose of the university, and a range of other things along the way that are sure to be inspiring and relevant to you if you are interested in understanding the Malaysian economy, the gig economy, and many other things along the way.
Thank you so much for this conversation, and it was an absolute honour to speak with you, Geoffrey! 🤩
