Film Review : Binny & Family !
#BinnyAndFamily : An unexpectedly good film !
I literally went for this one with zero expectations as my mom wanted to watch it. We saw the trailer last week when we went to watch The Buckingham Murders. Since then my mom was insisting that "woh Binny wali film dekhni hai".
2nd October was an off day, so me, my sister and mom went to watch this film with zero expectations.
A fresh film with a meaningful message that I'm sure would resonate across different generations. They address the most crucial modern times issue being generation gaps. The best part is their emphasis on the need to encourage more communication between different generations. It's crazy how most of us grew up or are growing up thinking that we don't have much to talk about with our grandparents and vice versa. But, the reality is that there's so much to learn from each other. And this film actually showcases the same.
There were times when I could relate to the film so much that I was regretting not having spent enough time with my grandparents. I wish I could.
I think the casting was done really well. Every character was in their skin. Anjini Dhawan was surprisingly impressive for a debut ! Even the small characters such as Binny's school - mates, doctors, colleagues etc. were so well played. I was impressed with the entire cast. Looking forward to see more of @anjinidhawan and more magic created by @rajeshkumar.official and @shankar.charu . @shivpurihimani and @officialpankajkapur killed their roles ! And @tripathy.naman was like a breath of fresh air ! Loved all the performances !
I think it's a family entertainer and every person while leaving the theatre had a smile on their face. And most of them took the lesson of not taking life or time for granted and valuing their parents and grandparents. It was a wholesome film that you can definitely watch this week with your family !
