resistance patterns for bacteria like Staphylococcus and learn about the Federal Government's CARB 2020-2025 program, which outlines strategies for reducing unnecessary antibiotic use. The course will also cover the creation and maintenance of outpatient antibiotic stewardship programs based on CDC recommendations and provide guidance on managing three common outpatient infections using CARB and CDC protocols. This comprehensive presentation aims to equip pharmacists with the knowledge to adapt to evolving prescriber practices and effectively combat antibiotic resistance.
