Ingredients
For Pan Fried Momos
12 momos
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
3/4 cup onion cubes
3/4 cup capsicum cubes
2 tbsp schezwan chutney
2 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/4 cup cornflour slurry
salt to taste
spring onions for garnish
oil for deep frying.
Method
For pan fried momos
To make pan fried momos, deep fry the momos until golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
Heat oil in a deep pan or wok, add garlic, ginger, green chillies, carrot and cabbage, sauté for few seconds.
Add onion cubes and capsicum cubes and cook on high flame for a minute.
Add schezwan chutney, red chili sauce, soya sauce, tomato ketchup and cornflour slurry.
Cook on medium flame for a minute, while stirring continuously.
Add salt and fried momos, toss it well along with the veggies and sauce for a minute.
Serve the pan fried momos hot garnished with spring onions.
