Wendy talks about Toilet Support Rails and why this particular type works for the house we’re in. Support rails aren’t something most people think about (or even like to see) until there is a need. You can have permanent rails bolted onto the wall that extend out beside the toilet, rails that have legs that go to the floor, and (if you have a wall beside the toilet) a grab bar like you’d see in a public handicap accessible restroom. We opted for the version without legs because of the limited floor space in this bathroom. It has been super helpful!
