Barramundi, or Asian sea bass, are fish found in the Indo-Pacific region of the world. They are catadromous fish meaning they spend part of their lives in freshwater but return to saltwater to spawn. They're broadcast spawners, and over the course of their lifetimes these fish may be ladies or lads! Aside from undergoing a sex change during their lives, barramundi can be some massive fish and come with a massive attitude while hunting their prey!

Range: Indo-Pacific marine, brackish, and freshwater
Size: more than a meter (3.3ft)
Diet: smaller fish, crustaceans, birds
Lifespan: 10+ years
