These predators got owned by prey! Life for so many creatures is precarious, there is always something that wants to eat you. Until the predators become the prey that is.
Typically, prey take the flight in the fight or flight response and flee the scene but sometimes, they’ll lay down that Uno reverse card and give new meaning to ‘lights out’ for the predator.
For instance, lions are one of the greatest apex predators of the food chain, but these bad boys take a lickin’ here and there, falling prey to their prey at times.
If the king of all predators can be preyed upon, such swapping can occur at any level of the food chain.
