Teaching an orphan bear cub all the skills it needs for a wild life is no mean feat. But the Born Free-supported Orphan Bear Rescue Centre are experts at it!
There’s a whole host of ‘behaviours’ cubs must learn before they can be considered for release – including foraging for a variety of food, such as roots and ants, hiding from any threats they may encounter, preparing themselves for hibernation, and swimming.
