It's been a while, but I'm back with an amazing recipe of an Austrian classic: Sachertorte. The combination of the apricot jam and chocolate is just amazing! Please try it out yourself and let me know in the comments how you liked it :)
Ingredients:
Cake batter:
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 7 eggs
- 150g butter (room temperature)
- pinch of salt
- 120g powdered sugar
- 150g bittersweet chocolate
- 120g sugar
Chocolate glaze:
- 200g 85%-90% chocolate
- 250g sugar
- 160ml water
- 370g Apricot Jam
- Unsweetened whipped cream (double cream)
