Senior Fellow at the Center for Renewing America and Chairman of the Election Transparency Initiative, Ken Cuccinelli, joins to give us his take on President Biden removing the US troops from Afghanistan and the turmoil that has followed. Cuccinelli shares what threats we face as a nation because of this decision. On another note, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced his intentions of trying to pass voting rights legislation once the Senate returns from its August recess. Democrats hope the legislation will create automatic voter registration and expand early voting, among other goals. Republicans blocked voting rights legislation from debate on the floor earlier in the year. Majority Leader Schumer says "everything is on the table." Cuccinelli gives his reaction to hearing Majority Leader Schumer say that. The senior fellow recently testified to the Committee on House Administration. He tells us what his message was to those members of Congress. He discusses how he sees the future of voting rights progressing. Cuccinelli explains whether he believes our election system will suffer if these more progressive and expansive provisions are put in place.
