1. Paint Your Ornament
Use your brush to paint each section to your liking, but remember - light coats work best for an even finish! Keep the pieces in the wooden frame while you paint, it makes painting the small pieces much easier. These tiny projects don't require a lot of paint, so start with just a little. Feel free to get creative - add dots, stripes, or any designs you like!
*Let paint dry completely before moving on*
2. Popping Out the Pieces
Gently press on each piece to pop it out from the frame. For smaller or tricky pieces, use the back end of your paintbrush or a toothpick to help.
*If a piece happens to snap, don't worry - just stick it in place when assembling it onto the ornament base!*
3. Stick it All Together
Carefully peel off the 3M backing from the painted pieces. You can use your nail or a toothpick to help remove the backing. Be precise when placing each piece, as the adhesive is strong - once it sticks, it won't budge!
4. Add Your String, Bead, and Bow
Take the piece of jute and pinch the loop, slide on the bead and push it up close to the knot. Insert the jute loop through the back of the ornament. Pull the loop end of the jute over the knot and bead, but before tightening, slide your ribbon into the space in between the ornament and the bead. Pull the jute tight and slide the bead down to secure the ribbon in place.
