I don’t do much standing shooting anymore as got old and fat but thought I would have a go again today to see if I can still do it, think it’s the first attempt since I retired from competitive shooting in 2001.
The superb Feinwerkbau 300 S is probably one of the best rifles ever made for this sort of shooting and this example from the 1970’s is showing some signs of wear in a few places but mechanically it’s still as perfect as it was the day it left the factory.
The rifle is still far more capable than me and apart from one rushed shot it’s not a bad score, I normally shoot Acupell through this but tried some QYS pellets today as got a tin that none of my other Airguns seem to like, they seem ok in this.
Someone at the club is interested in buying this type of rifle but had a lot of fun shooting it again today so might have to keep it in my collection.
