STORYLINE:
China Fashion Week kicked off in Beijing on Friday (24 MARCH 2023), showcasing the talents of young Chinese designers with attempts to stimulate the fashion industry and consumption hit hard by COVID-19.

Presenting designs for the coming fall and winter, the week-long event will manifest the diversity in China’s fashion industry with works symbolizing Chinese esthetics, intangible cultural heritage, innovation and sustainable fashion.

Founded in 1997, China Fashion Week is held twice a year and is one of the largest fashion events in China - the world’s second largest economy with immense spending power as well as growing awareness for fashion.
