Our breeding breeding "Doe 1" has been a problem from the start. She will remove all the nesting material for the nest box and lay the kits on the wire, She is aggressive towards us and her own kits, and her litter sizes tend to be small. Time to retire her
We selected a doe from an earlier litter to replace her. She was the larges doe and had the best disposition. We deemed here "Doe 3" Well, she is finally old enough to start breeding.
