Often I get asked "What are the best lures for Murray cod fishing". This week I was asked again by a YouTube user by the name of Sim2004.
With so many amazing Murray cod fishing lures on the market it is actually very hard to pin point which one is the best, so in this video I have answered the question by listing a few of my favourite Murray cod lures. These lures are what I consider the best Murray cod lures on the marker based on my experience and for the type of Murray cod fishing that I do.

Naturally, we all have our favourite Murray cod lures that we know that we can go to at any time, and that is pretty much what the lures that I have mentioned in this video are.
When Murray cod fishing, some people love massive swim baits and topwater baits, and other people use spinnerbaits almost exclusively.

Many of the biggest Murray cod caught at Copeton Dam and other impoundments are caught on huge swim baits, but as I am not targeting the biggest Murray cod in the river whenever I head out, I prefer to use the lures that I have listed in this video.
