My fave recipe Plant-Based Milk using the Almond Cow:
ALMOND CASHEW COCONUT MILK
1/3 cup almond flour (*requires no soaking this way)
1/3 cup cashews
1/3 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp sea salt
1. Fill the container with the almond flour, cashews and shredded coconut and attach to the blender top.
2. Fill the base with water up to the to the MIN line. Add the sea salt and vanilla and whisk to combine.
3. Secure the blender top to the base and press the button on the top for the 3 stage blending (this takes about 30 seconds).
4. Pour the plant-based milk into a jug, seal and store in the fridge. Use for coffees, lattes, smoothies and whatever other drinks or recipes you like to add milk to.
This milk will last up to 5 days in the fridge.
*Using almond flour saves you from having to soak the almonds in advance. Alternatively, you can use 1/3 cup almonds, soaked for 6 hours (or overnight) and strained.
