Researchers using Alliance and other advanced research computing (ARC) platforms have been (or should be) starting to think more about Research Data Management (RDM) for a variety of reasons, not least of which being the new Tri-Agency policy on RDM. Progress toward embedding RDM awareness and best practices into ARC and HPC workflows has been limited to date, but efforts are underway to fix this – including presentations like this one, which is an early attempt to look at RDM through an ARC lens. Best practices will be shared, along with a discussion of gaps in need of addressing.
