Today I’m going to be sharing with you the best Mexican street tacos you can ever make at home, basket tacos! Now let me tell you this tacos are seriously the best and cheapest tacos you can ever eat while in Mexico, majority of the time you are able to get papas con chorizo or refried beans but a classic and most popular ones are out of chicharrón prensado, the best of the fried chicharro!!!! The best part is that now when you have a craving for an authentic Mexican street taco de canasta you can make them at home, super easy and affordable too!

Enjoy while hot!!! Tacos will last warm for 3-4 hours but they are best to eat within the first 30 minutes 😊
Tip: make sure oil is boiling hot when pouring it over the tacos
Ingredients: makes 20 tacos more if you add less filling to each taco
Corn tortillas
Oil for frying; vegetable, canola or corn
2 lbs chicharrón prensado( deep fried cured pork& pork skin)
3 tomatillos
1/4 onion
2 garlic cloves
4 New Mexico or guajillo
2 chile morita or chile árbol
Salt I used 1 1/2 tsp chicharrón already has salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp ground cumim
Salsa verde:
10 tomatillos
Chile serranos I used 4
Jalapeños I used 1
2 garlic cloves
Piece of onion
Pinch of cilantro
Salt I used 2 tsp
Chopped cilantro and onion
1 serving of love 💕
