In this episode of Newshour, Padmaja Joshi will be discussing Rivaba, who is running for office for the first time in the Gujarat Assembly elections, will compete against experienced Congressman Bipendrasinh Chatursinh Jadeja and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Karsan Karmur. Jamnagar North's incumbent BJP MLA Dharmendrasinh M Jadeja has been replaced by Rivaba Jadeja. Rivaba, whose campaign is currently in full swing, hopes to win her first election by crushing the chances of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Karsan Karmur and seasoned Congressman Bipendrasinh Chatursinh Jadeja.

I'm in Congress. I have been with the party & will remain with them. I don't relate to the ideology of the BJP. The state govt didn't help the people as well during COVID says Naina Jadeja, Congress leader & cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's sister.
Gujarat is moving ahead with the double engine govt. The vote will be for BJP's vision. Ever since joining the BJP I've been to around 200 villages & have taken the vision to the public says Rivaba Jadeja , BJP's candidate from Jamnagar (North) constituency.
Cotton farmers in Jamnagar Rural constituency express their displeasure against the current establishment. 'We think AAP can be a good option. Like for example what they have done in Delhi & Punjab’.
