Shot over the summer of 2007. I was inspired to make this short when I first heard musician Marc Manning perform his song ELECTRICITY, then called "EGuitar" at a special show at the Highways theater in Santa Monica, CA.

I asked him that night if i could use his song in a simple short movie where all male couples kiss. Marc was extremely enthusiastic from the get go and said yes on the spot. Over the next few weeks I went around and asked many friends and strangers if they would make out in front of me for art's sake, I filmed them, and KISS was the final product.

I said this before elsewhere and i'll say it AGAIN, KISS wouldn't be the movie it is without Marc Manning's beautiful music. Please, visit his band sit at www.everythingisfine.net.

But keep in mind that IMDB's voting system works on a weird 'weighted' average that, might work well with films with large distribution, but can be pure poison for any indie film. (Currently "KISS" on IMDB is 1.5, while the raw average would be closer to 8.5 in the real world.) So anyhow, if you want to get KISS some IMDB love, please keep the votes between 6-9. That way the votes will actually count. (Why do i feel like I'm on Dancing with the Stars?)
