Welcome to our channel! Today, we're thrilled to give you a preview of the 2025 Blizzard Anomaly skis, a revolutionary line that's set to shake up the all-mountain ski world.
For 2025, Blizzard has made some major changes to their all-mountain line. Last year, we saw the new Rustlers with their innovative build and shapes, but for next year, Blizzard has taken their classic Brahma and Bonafide models and totally revamped them into the Anomaly line. These skis feature new builds, new shapes, and new looks, taking performance to a whole new level.
The Anomaly line introduces the FluxForm All-Mountain construction, building on the success of the Rustler's FluxForm technique. This construction starts with a fiberglass layer at the bottom, followed by a .4 mm full sheet of titanal. Above that, we have the All-Mountain Trueblend wood core, which includes dense beech stringers running long in the middle and progressively shorter towards the edges, filled with poplar stringers for a lighter weight and snappier character.
On top of the wood core, things get even more interesting. A full sheet of .6 mm titanal is split into three parts: a central strip running tip to tail, another fiberglass layer, and two outer strips of metal along the edges. This design allows the central metal strip to work with the dense beech stringers, while the outer arms flex more torsionally with the poplar wood. This mix of stability, grip, flex, and power runs through the ski from end to end.
The shape and profile of the Anomaly have also been altered to fit a more freeride personality. They feature higher underfoot camber, more splay in the tips and tails, and longer rocker lengths. This change makes the skis more adventurous while still maintaining their hard-charging behavior and crud-busting capabilities.
The Anomaly line includes models like the Anomaly 88 and Anomaly 92, each offering unique features to suit different skiing styles. Sizing is another key feature, with lengths breaking every 6 cm, allowing Blizzard to offer an ideal length for almost every skier. We're excited to get more familiar with these amazing skis as the year goes on, and we believe the Anomaly will make a significant impact on the 2025 ski scene for those looking for a mix of high performance and creative capabilities.
