Nameri National Park is situated at foothills of eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam. It is also declared as Tiger Reserve in year between 1999-2000. The Jia-Bhoroli river flows through this national park and it looks pretty beautiful. The famous white winged wood duck ,the state bird of Assam can be found here including many other species of birds, animals and flowers. Visitors of many states and countries often visited the National Park to see it's mesmerizing view and feel the deep forest walk. And activities to do here is Rafting through Jia-Bhoroli River and a trekking of around 4km through the National Park with an armed gourd.
