In this video we will be demonstrating the features of the Flaming Coals Warrior Pig Spit Roaster.
The spit measures 150cm long by 52cm wide and is great for cooking roasts, chickens, suckling pigs, lambs or barbecuing on the grill. The height the fire box is fully adjustable by sliding the firebox up and down the legs.
The spit comes with a heavy duty motor rated to turn 60kgs at 5 revolutions per minute. It has all metal gears, is fan cooled and it comes with a 2 year warranty.
In addition to the motor, the Warrior Pig Spit Roaster comes with a single piece solid skewer with no joins or flex. It also comes with a quick release pin to attach the skewer to the motor, 2 large prongs, 1 back brace, 2 leg brackets and 2 cooking grills. All accessories which come into contact with food are made from 304 food grade stainless steel. It is also important to mention that the skewer is round rather than square so you’ll always be able to get replacement parts and accessories off the shelf rather than having to get parts custom made which can be expensive.
As you can see inside the spit tub, it also includes a charcoal pan in the base of the spit to increase the spits lifespan and prevent it from burning out.
The Warrior Pig Spit Roaster comes with 4 wheels so it is easy to move if necessary. The wheels also have brakes to ensure your spit will remain stable while cooking.
The Warrior Pig Spit Roaster comes with a rear windshield to help reduce cooking times and the lid can be closed for easy storage when the spit is not in use or removed if not needed.
The Australian designers at Flaming Coals designed and tested this spit in Australia for use by Australians. It is easy to assemble with English written instructions. The body is all fully welded and there are just 2 screws to affix the legs onto the body. The clip to hold the lid open also needs to be attached.
One of the most important features of cooking with a spit is the ability to adjust the height the skewer sits over the coals. As you can see, the Warrior has a very simple height adjustment function which allows the meat to be adjusted whilst cooking. Lowering the tub also allows for further height adjustment.
The Warrior Pig Spit Roaster is exceptionally well-priced and you would be hard pressed to find a spit of this quality in its price range, especially with a 60kg motor. With a 2 year warranty and all the accessories being made from 304 food grade stainless steel, you can’t go wrong.
