Several Toledo fire crews continue to extinguish a massive scrap yard fire at OmniSource, a metals recycling plant on Detroit Avenue in North Toledo.
The fire roared to life at around 3 p.m. and quickly the neighborhood was canvassed in thick, black smoke.
Firefighters said a large pile of recycled cars in a scrap yard caught fire.
