I filmed this after the end of a chaotic unexpected week. I just needed some time to relax and unwind. This video is my Self Care Sunday Routine (Fall Edition) where I will take you through my slow morning process, essentially a fall slow morning routine where I spend time focusing on myself and what truly matters. Sprinkled in here are some of my favorite fall recipes (healthy pumpkin spice latte and a Fall Apple Smoothie) along with a new recipe I made up for Pumpkin Spice Hummus. It can be so hard to make some time for yourself when you are a busy working mom, but sometimes you just need to put all the todo lists to the side and spend time doing self care. As a mom you will see I have a strategy for meals and pampering myself that includes keeping my kids in mind. I hope that some of these ideas inspire you and help you out!
Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe
1/2 cup Unsweet Vanilla Almond Milk
1/4 cup Nutpods Cookie Butter Creamer
1 cup Black Coffee
Pumpkin Spice Seasoning to taste
Cinnamon to taste
Healthy Fall Apple Smoothie Recipe
1 small apple (no core)
1 TBSP Chia Seeds or Flax Seeds
1 TBSP MCT Oil
2 cups Unsweet vanilla Almond Milk
1 scoop vanilla protein (I use the Tahitian Vanilla Whey Protein right now)
1/2 cup Baby Spinach
1 scoop morning complete (Optional)
Nutmeg & Cinnamon to taste
Pumpkin Spice Hummus Recipe
1 can chick peas (garbanzo beans) smashed
1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
3 TBSP Unsweetend Apple Sauce
2 TBSP Swerve (Powdered)
1 tsp Pumpkin Spice Seasoning (or to taste)
1 tsp Cinnamon (or to taste)
