Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL), the largest international industry-funded cooperative, which has the capability to respond to oil spills wherever they may occur in the world, has successfully modified and delivered two former FedEx Boeing 727 cargo aircraft. Fitted with internal tanks, pumps and a spray boom to deliver dispersant liquid, the specially adapted aircraft are truly a first-of-a-kind capability for the oil and gas industry.
I was tasked with producing a film that informed the members of the cooperative how the system operates and responds to an incident. The film features 3D CGI, shots of both planes flying in close formation and cockpit shots during the spraying exercises. The film has been very received by OSRL and it's members. My highlight was filming the close formation flying from a stunt plane piloted by an ex Red Arrows leader, Red One.
