Diane shows a number of options for brewing loose tea. Our favorite is the ForLife strainer, which you can purchase at their site here: [ Ссылка ]
One we did not mention is the tea ball. Many of you probably use a tea ball, and the reason we don't recommend it is that it usually doesn't have enough room to really let the tea leaves infuse properly, and it can let through fine herbals like Rooibos.
There are large 'tea bags' called T Sacs that work well if you are just getting into loose tea and don't want to spend money yet on strainers, which normally run around $10-$30, with the one we like best around $20. You may be able to find it for less on places like Amazon..
Aside from the strainer, is the way you actually use them. Most people put the leaves inside the strainer, put it in a mug or pot and then pour the hot water over the top and cover, then lift out the strainer with the wet leaves in it and dispose.
However, we feel an even better way to use the strainer is as the 'last step', putting the leaves and water directly into a stainless steel travel tumbler, shown in the video, which keeps the steeping temperature where it should be, then pouring the tea through the strainer into the cup or pot you will serve or drink it in.
Whatever way you use it, be sure and choose one with very fine holes, so that you will be able to strain any tea or herbal without anything getting through into your cup!
To find a number of strainers, just Google tea strainers and you will find no lack of choices. Our choice has been made after years of trying most types available from all over the world.
