Disclaimer: The Kebtek pruning shears were sent to me by the manufacturer. I did not pay for the tool in the video, however the thoughts and tests are my own and were not influenced in any way by Kebtek.
The manufacturers specifies a maximum cut diameter of 25mm which is 100% in line with what I observed. Even more than that if the cut is precise and at an angle (not perpendicular to the branch) I found that even more than 25mm can be cut through. No matter the thickness of the branch the pruners have sufficient power and maintain the speed of the cut. I got the tool with 2 batteries, however throughout the testing process I used only a single battery. On top of that I charged both batteries as soon as the tool arrived went through filming this video (you saw about 1/4 of the cuts) and after all that I still did not have to recharge the battery or reach for the second one.
