Our Retained Duty System (RDS) or On Call Firefighters are highly valued and respected within their communities.
Very often, RDS or On Call firefighters have grown up in the communities they serve and may have families who are growing up in those communities - and this is their way of putting something back into society. They don’t just live or work in the community – they are part of it and also protect it.
