Earlier this year, LEGO Master Builders worked together for 292 hours to design and build this incredible LEGO version of the iconic Statue of Liberty as part of a partnership with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Designed by Erik Varszegi on a 1:32 scale, the model stands over 9 feet – or 300 bricks – tall and weighs 125 pounds. It is installed at the museum to help celebrate the museum’s 2017 theme, “The Nation We Build Together”, and the newly renovated second floor of the west wing which features two brand new exhibitions.
