In this video you will witness us forging W1 round stock into the preform for the sword. This process takes a while because even tapers have to be forged in. I did the math and guestimation to figure out how I could forge it as evenly as possible. In this video and step I was aided by my two strikers Chris and Jarek. I stepped in a little to give them a break from pounding steel. They did great work that helped save time and added some authenticity to this build. Next episode will be final forging of this blade!
