The Dough Recipe:
- For every 3 cups of semolina, add 1 cup of ghee
- Stir the mixture
- Let the dough rest for 3 hours
- Add 3 tbsp of rose water
- Add 1 sp of mahaleb (محلب)
- Add 1 cup of milk
- Add 1 cup of sugar
- knead the dough and let it rest
The Filling:
- Chop 3 cups of pistachio to a small pieces
- Add 2 tbsp of sugar
- Add 1 tbsp of rose water
- Stir the mixture
- Divide the dough into equal pieces
- Roll the pieces to a small balls
- Stuff the filling into the dough pieces
- Roll it again
- Form the kahk as desired(you can use a fork)
- Prepare the oven beforehand
- Lay baking paper on top of the tray
- Arrange the kahk on the tray
- Now bake
