November 24, 2010. Nobel Laureates in Physics, 2010, Prof. Andre Geim and Dr. Konstantin Novoselov visited their home laboratory at the Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands where the groundbreaking experiments were done, and I work there right now. They answered questions of students, in an informal session. Prof. Andre Geim then laid emphasis on knowledge, and risk-taking behaviour. He also voiced his difference of opinion about protectionism and frugal government and other funding agencies, anti-immigration issues, and took a lunge on safety issues raised needlessly by so called safety-enforcement authorities. Those people in that department from various universities, institutions and organizations needlessly disturb the peace and progress of the scientists who know their work and tools much better than them. In fact, Prof. Geim poured liquid nitrogen on his hands and even drank and spit a little of it, which proved how much he was frustrated by such issues before.
