The US chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Gen Mark Milley, has told reporters that despite ‘a lot of rumour and speculation’ the weight of evidence indicates that Covid-19 did not originated in a Chinese laboratory but came from ‘natural’ origins. Milley told reporters at the Pentagon, 'I would just say at this point, it’s inconclusive, although the weight of evidence seems to indicate natural. But we don’t know for certain'
