Watch and listen the amazing echolocation of our local resident dolphin lady Calypso. When dolphins need to see underwater they use their eyesight but also echolocation or sonar. That means they use soundwaves created by near their melon to see underwater with sound. A dolphin can locate a fish in 75m distance just using that echolocation. It is a magnificent feeling as our underwater videographer felt straight away as the dolphin came so close to the camera that it couldn't even focus anymore. Calypso was very interested in the camera as the lens looks underwater like a giant eye.
