Trinamool Congress leader Partha Chatterjee, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday in a teacher recruitment scam, has a luxury flat exclusively for his dogs.
The ED unearthed many disproportionate assets of Partha Chatterjee since his arrest, of which were three flats in West Bengal's Diamond City. One of these fully air-conditioned flats of the minister, known as a dog lover, belongs to the dogs.
West Bengal Commerce and Industries Department minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the ED on Saturday morning in connection with its probe into the alleged School Service Commission (SSC) scam in West Bengal. The arrest of Partha Chatterjee followed Rs 21 crore in cash and jewellery worth above Rs 1 crore being recovered from the Kolkata residence of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of the former education minister.
