Check out what drag racing was like back in the late 1960's and early 1970's at the Vintage Drag Racing that went on during the Out-A-Sight drags event at Great Lakes Dragaway.

You will see a lot of cars from old school days when they made them into Gassers and Altered Vehicles. These Vintage Cars are fast too, don't be fooled by the age of these vehicles because some master mechanics tweak these cars over the years and find the best combinations with what they had to work with back in the day. And that is one cool thing about this event too is that they only allow cars Pre 1967 and they have to be period correct. Meaning the types of engine they use, mag wheels, carbs and stuff like that. So you get a real world example of how things were back in the day.
