A four (4) hours online course, “Surgical Management of Endodontics and Periodontic Treatment Failures and Complications,” presented on19th June 2021.
The purpose of the course is to utilize surgical and nonsurgical endodontics for transitional and permanent management of endodontic treatment failures and complications. The presentations are:
1- What are the endodontic treatments that General Dentistry Practitioners should learn to avoid unnecessary tooth extraction and unpredictable implant placements?
2- Learn interim surgical endodontics to use hopeless teeth for implant site preparation
3- reduce the incidence and rate of bone resorption and preserve the alveolar ridge bone.
4- Reduce the need for GBR and GTR.
5- Learn Molar Hemisection and root amputation as a best practice to manage endodontic furcation lesions caused by procedural accidents, root fractures, and perforations.
6- Learn Endodontic implants site preparation using interim surgical Endodontics. An innovative approach for the management of infected hopeless with large lesions teeth. The method is a best practice to regenerate the Quality and quantity of native bone immediate implant placement.
7- Endodontic intentional tooth replantation and transplantation. An excellent approach to manage acute endodontic problems.
8- Learn emergency incision and drainage and surgical trephination for areas where is surgical endodontics is not advisable
