After the forestry mulching & land clearing company started the work on November 9th, I paid the contractor over 40% of the agreed contract price. Although it’s been over 6 weeks and the 12 acres have NOT been completed, he still demanded that I pay 85% of the contract price in order for him to complete the work. I told him that I would gladly pay the full contract price for clearing the land and leaving thin mulching (as we agreed upon) after the work has been completed. But, he refused to complete the work. The contractor left me with this mess….
