This video goes through the process of manually overriding a Power Gear above floor slide-out. The first step in the process is how to access the the motor. Once the motor is accessible we show how to disengage the motor brake. Then there are 2 ways of manually retracting the room. The first is with a ratchet by turning the manually override nut on the motor. The second is with the help of additional people, pushing the room from the outside until fully retracted. Finally we show how to re-engage the motor brake and zip up the access panel to prepare the unit for travel.
