Whilst the delays to the opening of the Elizabeth Line continue, driver training can be seen operating between Old Oak Depot and Reading, to ensure the units are ready to enter service when required. Currently the training extends as far as Reading Signal T1732, which is where the units will sit after terminating at Reading, to allow for CrossCountry and GWR services to utilise platforms 13 & 12.
