This is my design, a home made tube amp usingh KT88 power tubes invented in 1956 and 12AX7 preamp/phase splitter tubes invented in 1945. The KT88 is a very forgiving tube. It sounds great at a wide variety of voltages and currents. These power tube plates are running at about 475 volts. Working on it you must be careful not to get zapped. It could kill you. So far this is my best sounding amp.
