Lalon Fakir was a Baul devotee. He has researched man and his soul all his life. He realized that human beings have all the powers of the world. So he told people to pursue human being. Lalon Shah was a philosopher. His way of life is very simple and straightforward. There is no authentic book of philosophy made by Lalon Fakir, evidence of Lalon Fakir's philosophy is found in many of his Baul songs. Songs composed by Lalon Fakir are known as Lalon Geeti or Lalon Fakir's songs.
However, today we will listen to a wonderful Baul song/baul gaan, which is written by Lalon Fakir. The song is "How an unknown bird comes inside the cage and go outside the cage (here cage min human body). That is how the human soul travels among human beings all the time. He cannot be caught.
