Hi everyone! I am slowly revealing how I was making minimum 30,000 YEN in cash for doing Elvis in Japan.
When I first came to Japan, I came up with the idea of me doing Elvis because I thought I had a pretty good singing voice and people used to tell me that I sounded like Elvis when I sang his songs. I bought me first cheap jumpsuit for about $50US and searched for Elvis Karaoke music. Once I got the music, I advertised in local magazines. This was before internet/email was gaining ground in Japan.
