Driving the White Rim Trail Part 2 of 3
This is a time-lapse video.
Starting at Shafer Trail the White Rim road is roughly 100 miles of unpaved unmaintained dirt road, most roads require high-clearance, low range four-wheel-drive. The trail ends at Mineral road (Horsethief trail) looping back near the visitors center.
Day 1: Shafer Trail to Gooseberry campsite.
Day 2: Gooseberry to Candlestick with a detour to Whitecrack.
Day 3: Candlestick to Mineral road.
I have edited out all our "photograph" stops along the drive and there were a lot, so much to see and take in.
***At the end of this video you will see the Candlestick campsite vault toilet, when we arrived there that evening we found a Rattlesnake had already taken up residence in said vault toilet.
LOL! (but not at the time)***
