This is a fan-made remix of a song that was released in 1983. I remember hearing it on Radio 1 - I cannot remember which DJ played it, but it could have been either Peter Powell, Janice Long or Annie Nightingale. I cannot remember which - they were all supporters of new and unknown artists - that is where I got to hear about new bands in the early 1980s.

Anyway, here is my attempt to remix this song that is 41 years old. Does anybody care about Lot 49 these days? Well, I certainly do and I hope that some other people are interested in this whether this is the first time they have heard of Lot 49 or whether this is a blast from the past. Thanks for listening.

I have no idea what Lot 49 is all about. However, there is a book called 'The Crying of Lot 49' that may have influenced the name for the band.
