👨‍⚕️ For 2024, one of the proudest things for me as a physician, is to be a part of a technology that can revolutionize care and improve the quality of life for the patients I take care of.
During my career, kidney care and the #dialysis industry never saw much innovation, leading to frustration on the part of both clinicians and #patients.

I joined the Alio team a few years ago and got to witness us deliver the first ever FDA approved device to non-invasively measure serum potassium – the Alio SmartPatch.
This is a wearable patch, specifically meant for #remotepatientmonitoring in patients with #kidney disease.

The SmartPatch is now commercially available to dialysis patients for monitoring of:
✅ potassium
✅ hemoglobin
✅ hematocrit
✅ skin temperature
✅ heart rate
✅ auscultation (listening of sounds) of dialysis access

👉 These are the metrics that directly effect our patient population.
My goal is to help introduce the SmartPatch to those in kidney care and to help improve the outcomes of our patients.
